Each of the clips in this series of animations were simulated, modeled, animated, and rendered in Blender 2.5 Alpha 2. They were used as transitional elements for an annual corporate presentation focusing on casinos.
The Bullet physics engine was used to animate the cards and chips falling. It was also used to animate the roulette wheel and the die throw, both of which were simulated several hundred times to achieve their final results. Lesson learned… Don’t play roulette and don’t bet on a hard 8.
